Carol Kramer

Carol Jean (Beers) Kramer, born on April 24, 1943, in Motley, Minnesota, passed away on March 26, 2026. She was the daughter of Paul and Mary (DeGeest) Beers.  

On May 11, 1963, Carol Jean married Ronald Kramer in Little Falls, Minnesota. They resided in Minneapolis for a few years before establishing their home in Elk River/Anoka, Minnesota. For over two decades, she dedicated her career to working as a librarian at Elk River Elementary. In retirement, she and Ron settled in Motley, Minnesota, in their custom-built home overlooking the Crow Wing River. 

Carol Jean and Ron cherished many years spent in Arizona during their winters. They made new friends, relished golfing, ATV riding, and dancing. Carol Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Beers, and her sister, Bonnie Farber. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; their son, Douglas (Shelly); their daughter, Holly (Greg); their grandson, Jesse (Crystal); their granddaughter, Katie (Steve); their grandson, Arron (Vanessa); and six great-grandchildren. 

Carol Jean was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, and she will be deeply missed. 

Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 15th, at Motley United Methodist Church.

We are deeply grateful for the vibrance of
Carol’s life, the kindness of her heart, and the love
of her friends. She was truly one of a kind and
will be missed beyond measure.
We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace
with the Good Lord, reunited with loved ones who have
gone before her.

friendship—these meant everything to Carol,
and they continue to mean so much to our family.
