Good October All,
A couple of months ago, I told you all about the story of the lost boat card. Believe it or not, Steph actually found the card after it was no longer needed. We had a good laugh over it all. Well, now it is time to get out and explore a bit of nature; this time, it isn’t a boat card but a trail camera and a pack of SD cards. We searched high and low to no avail. Thank God for Amazon! New SD cards and a new trail camera are on the way. Honestly, I can’t wait to get Hazel out pheasant hunting.
October can be a busy month here at the church, so make sure you check the calendar for upcoming events. There will be the Turkey dinner, Lefse, Trunk or Treat, and even the community breakfast on the last Saturday of the month. Hope to see you all there.
Another exciting event that will be happening is on October 22nd. On that Sunday, we will host Teen Challenge. Josh Solem was very helpful in getting the Choir signed up to come and be a part of the worship celebration. If you do attend, there will be a potluck after the church service, so stay and converse with the people from Teen Challenge. I am sure we will hear great music and testimonies from some of the members.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone for their positive attitudes. It is great being a part of a church willing to be the hands and feet of Christ. It brings me joy each and every day knowing that what we are doing in this church and community shows people what Christ can do in our lives. When we wake in the morning, remember that your church clothes are on and that you are willing to be a part of God’s kin-dom in all that you do.
Blessings,
Pastor Greg Leslie
P.S. Take some time, drive around, and look at the leaves. They are beautiful.
